Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd built on this victory and then went on to a three-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. She then went back to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's records as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 after signing to Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Her next bout was a win against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her impressive wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via third round TKO(elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last match in the organization. She defeated Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for an TKO win in the second round. Ladd remained in the lead, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd took the win in the first round and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first big fight. Both fighters fought an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya during the third round at UFC at ESPN 7. In a recent match replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a unanimous decision against her.
